Comfortable room with a fantastic bed, but low water pressure in the shower was disappointing. Breakfast had great options, too.

The atmosphere was charming and welcoming, especially with
the delightful treats available all day. I loved the little touches, such as cookies upon check-in. The breakfast options were nice, but the sound insulation could be better, as you might hear conversations from the hall or nearby rooms.

The free Provincial Park pass was a great bonus, along with the convenient onsite parking and constant coffee availability in the open kitchen. The charming atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home.

Large room with good air conditioning. Steep stairs were a hassle, no elevator.

missingWrote a review on Aug 30old-world charmlarge roomlow water pressure
Classic old-world charm with a large room featuring a queen bed and futon. Great self-serve breakfast with fresh baked goods and a perfect walking distance to downtown sights.
Low water pressure in the shower and inconsistent hot water. The stairs to the third floor might pose a challenge for some guests, and noise from other rooms was noticeable as expected in an older building.

We had an amazing group vacation! The location was ideal, making it easy to explore downtown and enjoy the waterfront. Plus, the hot breakfast was a fantastic way to kickstart our days. The host was really welcoming and attentive. Don’t miss out on the homemade treats in the kitchenette — they were delicious! I recommend checking out the local parks and waterfront sites.
One of our friends experienced a hassle with overbooking, which was disappointing and seemed unorganized. Communication could be improved to avoid surprises.

great service but noisy hall
The atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was a highlight, with excellent food options that were plentiful for everyone. The staff showed great effort, ensuring our stay was comfortable and personalized.
The sound insulation could have been improved as we often heard conversations from the hall and nearby rooms.

The stay offered a very nice room with a comfortable bed and good tea and coffee facilities, along with a free afternoon treat that added a lovely touch. The breakfast had a good selection with both hot and cold options, perfect for starting the day. However, the bathroom was quite small, and the noise from nearby rooms disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the lack of an elevator made accessing the upper floors a bit challenging.

The Classic Queen Room was really comfy and cozy. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep, and I loved the air conditioning, especially with the summer heat. There’s also a fridge which is handy. The charm of the old house added character, and there was a lovely quietness, but sound from the hall could sneak in at times. Overall, a great spot to relax after exploring the area.
